Rita Ora has said she feels “embarrassed” about her “inexcusable error of judgment” in hosting a 30th birthday party in London during the lockdown. The UK is currently under a second national lockdown.
The singer “How to Be Lonely” was spotted walking into a restaurant in West London with friends such as Cara and Poppy Delevingne, Vas Morgan and Ora’s sister Elena on Saturday night.
Police peered through the windows of the allegedly closed Casa Cruz restaurant in Notting Hill, and now Ora, who turned 30 last week, has apologized for violating COVID restrictions.

In a statement, she wrote, “Hi everyone, I attended a small gathering with some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was a spontaneous decision made with the misguided view that we were getting out of lockdown and this.” would be fine … I am very sorry for breaking the rules and I understand that this endangers people.
“This was a grave and inexcusable error of assessment. Given the limitations, I understand how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility.
“I am particularly embarrassed to know firsthand how hard people have worked against this terrible disease and to realize the sacrifices that people and companies have made to protect us all.
“Even if this doesn’t get you right, I would like to sincerely apologize.”
Thanks to you all !!
❤️❤️❤️ Without your unconditional love and support, I would not be who I am today !! Many thanks to my fans who drove this trip with me and your great news. Cant wait to see you all again !!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 https://t.co/acrMuRJUv2

Ora is believed to have been fined £ 10,000 (approximately $ 13,300) for violating the November 5th lockdown rules, which are scheduled to end on December 2nd.
The story goes on
However, after the lockdown, London will move into the second tier restrictions, which would continue to prohibit Ora from meeting people from other households indoors and restrict outdoor gatherings to six.
For the moment, restaurants are said to remain closed except for serving take-away and face hefty fines for breaking the rules.
