Oke attributed her success to the late actress, who she said was responsible for her breakthrough in the industry.

It did so a few weeks after the Nigerian entertainment industry fell into mourning following the death of the singer-songwriter Sound Sultan.
The family sent out an official statement shared on Instagram by Efe Omoregbe, the manager of 2baba.
In the announcement, Dr. Kayode Fasasi on behalf of the late singer’s family.
