Roommate, a few weeks ago social media burned with reports that Megan Thee Stallion and her former stylist EJ King got into an argument during a celebrity birthday party. Well, now EJ is talking exactly about what happened between him and Megan – and surprisingly, JT from The City Girls is involved.
Megan Thee Stallion was reportedly drunk when she met her former stylist EJ King at a celebrity birthday party and decided to speak to him. Things got hot quick and the two ended in an argument that pointed fingers in each other’s faces causing a scene before JT from the City Girls got between them and tried to de-escalate the situation.
In a recent interview, EJ King spoke about the situation:
“All were faded [the] Party. I’m not a big drinker so I was a little calmer but everyone was faded. I know when Megan faded. I know how passionate and lively she is when she speaks, and so it could have looked like something crazier at the party. It became a lot while we were talking. JT may have thought that there was something more to it because JT ran over and somehow got between us. I don’t know JT. I am in love [Young] Miami. I respect the city girls. I have no problems without women. I don’t want to go to war with some girls. It wasn’t. “
EJ went on to explain that at first he just wanted to hug Megan and tell her he loved her, but he didn’t want things to get out of hand:
“There were a lot of people in the room who I didn’t want to give the wrong impression of what was going on. Unfortunately it got a lot more animated than I wanted it to be. I don’t know JT. I know she’s cool with Megan and maybe she thought she was coming in to help Megan. But it wasn’t. JT came between us and she kind of pushed me back. She said what she said and I said, ‘Ma’am, I just don’t know you. I don’t understand what you are doing. ‘”
Megan Thee Stallion and EJ King still haven’t reached out to explain exactly what happened between them in order for them to end their working relationship.
