Megan Fox publicly blew up estranged husband Brian Austin Green for posting photos of their children on social media. In the personal and scathing post, she claimed it was part of a larger edition of Beverly Hills, 90210 alum – which she broke up with in November 2019 – and attempted to paint her as an “absent mom” on social media. This has resulted in Vanessa Marcil, who also shares a child with Green, also weighs up and supports Fox.
Green posted a photo from Halloween showing a side view of his Yeti costume when their youngest child, Journey, 4, dressed as a superhero, stood behind him and wrote, “Hope you all had a good Halloween!” Fox, who romantically moved on with her midnight at Switchgrass co-star and “Twin Flame” machine gun Kelly earlier this year, went off in the comments.
“Why does Journey have to be in this picture?” Fox wrote. “It’s not difficult to cut them out. Or choose photos that do not show them. I had a great Halloween with them yesterday and still realize how absent they are on my social media. “
She continued, “I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to pose on Instagram. You’re so drunk from feeding the ubiquitous narrative that I got one absent mom and you are the consistent, forever dedicated dad of the year. You have her half the time. Congratulations, you are truly a remarkable person! “
Fox closed her comment by writing, “Why do you need the Internet to get back to you, which should be inexhaustibly obvious about how your children love you?”
Green did not respond publicly, but deleted the original post – with Fox’s comment captured by the celeb’s Instagram comments – and reposted the photo with the trip cut out.
It’s not clear what triggered Fox in this case, as Green is constantly posting photos of her children, including Noah, 8 and Bodhi, 6. Apparently, it has reached its turning point – and very publicly.
The story goes on
Fox’s comment has received a lot of attention, including from Green’s ex Marcil. The exes who met on the set of 90210 share an 18-year-old son, Kassius, and have fought for custody for years since 2006. Kassius reconnected with Green last year after years of alienation.
“Like I said … The truth always comes out at the end …”, Marcil wrote with the hashtag #ImWithYouSister.
Marcil publicly showed support for Fox amid the high profile divorce in September when she applauded the Transformers star for “living for himself”. Marcil also said she was “never in love with Green” she was engaged to, calling him a “very angry / sad person”.

Green and Fox quietly parted ways in November 2019 when she returned home from a shoot and told him she was happier to be apart from him. She started making switchgrass in March and had an immediate association with Kelly (real name: Colson Baker). While production was suspended due to the pandemic, the new couple returned to LA together and began going public in May after Green confirmed he and Fox had split.
Fox’s romance with Kelly drew a lot of attention when Fox starred in his music video “Bloody Valentine,” declaring him her “twin flame,” who she said represents a deeper bond than a soulmate. Kelly recently met Fox’s children with Green with a source who told People magazine that the new couple were “planning a future together.”
