Meek tweeted, “I’m going to get all the great artists in Philadelphia a deal[,] If they put bodies behind the cattle for them … I hear from … I have a couple of young cops from my town, but they all meat. “
Shortly after that tweet, a local rapper, Poundside Pop, called Meek about an earlier tweet explaining that “anyone who has left has to choose a side”. The local rapper replied, “It’s time for you to choose your side.” Pooundside Pop wrote: “ARE YOU ZOO OR NOT N *** A ????”
After a few chats, it was evident that Meek’s tweet was not well received by local rappers in the area. Even academics got involved and brought up their latest beef from last summer: “I remember Meek Mill banishing me from the trenches … now I hear that the TRENCHES banned Meek Mill …”
In his last social media post before deactivating his accounts, Meek Mill took to Instagram, posted a bag full of money and wrote, “Ard y’all ima holla at y’all later …”
A few minutes after that last post, it was clear that he had disabled his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Meek loves to tweet and like posts on Instagram. I am sure he will be back soon.
