The world already knew Jason Momoa was deeply in love with his wife Lisa Bonet. Then came the coronavirus and months of quarantine, which forced the Aquaman star to spend all of his waking hours with her and her two children.
“We’ve all gotten so much closer,” Momoa told Men’s Health.
He explained that he and Bonet, who live with their children, daughter Lola, 13, and 12-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf (better known as Wolfie), don’t have a TV. The little ones don’t have phones either, so there’s plenty of swimming, hiking with the family’s three dogs, and listening to music or playing.

“My wife is very clever and smart and [our kids and I are] A bit like animals that need to be trained a little better, ”said Momoa. “I’m always at work, just trying to get better as a father and husband.”
Still, he’s so proud of the way his children love books that he has to force them outside, which isn’t always easy.
“I may look big and tough, but I am not. I am nothing like [Game of Thrones character] Khal Drogo, “said Momoa of the role he played on the first seasons of the HBO show. “I’m not even the king of my own house! I am absolutely afraid of my wife. “
He is also devoted, saying that the only thing that will ease his worries about dating her daughter as she gets older. (No wonder: Momoa remembered that when his stepdaughter Zoë Kravitz, Bonet’s grown daughter, started dating Lenny Kravitz’s rocker, Kravitz was “much cooler than me” in this area.)
Momoa cried when Lola officially became a teenager.
“I’m not going to do well. I’ll just hate it when she brings some dips home, bad boy, ”Momoa said, noting that he hopes Lola will settle down with someone as devoted to her as Bonet. “I think if you find a man who treats you better than me [treat Bonet], Good luck!'”
The actor recalled that when he and Bonet started dating in 2005, he was a 26-year-old “mess”. She was 12 years older, more polished, but he questioned her anyway. It was a very uncomfortable moment for him.
The story goes on
“Most of all,” he said, “when you meet someone you are completely excited about and then find out that she is amazing, intelligent and funny, a goddess and you a degenerate.”
Momoa suggested that anyone attempting a similar feat should try to make the person laugh.
