The brutal fight is continuing in Ukraine
Fighting Remains Tough in Ukraine

While the battle lines between Russian invaders and Ukrainian defense forces haven’t changed much, fighting in the Donbas regions has become savage according to a top military official stated today.
The battles in the Bakhmut sector of the Donetsk area has completely destroyed the region with tens of thousands of artillery shells exploding across the region.
The Russians are pushing against the Ukrainian army, trying to force them out of the area. Reports from the region indicate that many civilians are leaving the region.
This is one region in Ukraine that Russia is pushing. “What I would say is that in terms of how the battlefield looks, not significant adjustments to the battlefield, quite honestly, over the last couple of weeks,” the official in the military stated.
There are three Russian, Kalibr cruise missile-capable ships located in the Black Sea, and the airspace above Ukraine is being contested.
Officials said Ukrainians are doing a great job amalgamating various air defense capabilities from many different countries in order to create an integrated air defense system. The officials noted that last week the system shot down each unmanned aircraft that aimed to attack Kyiv.
Officials also discussed the strength of the world-wide donor countries. The United States will provide Bradley Fighting Vehicles to Ukraine. Germany and France have also provided armored vehicles, and the Netherlands as well as The U. S. are renovating the T-72 tanks.
Additionally to that, the U.S. and other partner countries will also train Ukrainian teams in joint weapons operation. “What it really does is it demonstrates this continued commitment by NATO,” the official explained, adding that the actions are proof that NATO’s commitment to helping Ukraine remains unwavering.
“That equipment is one thing, using the equipment is another,” he said. “So, you’ve seen, you’ve seen again many of our allies, but, you know, step forward to offer some additional collective training as it relates to the use of that equipment. This gives Ukrainians an opportunity to continue to work on what they’ve been doing over the past 10 years — adjusting the way they fight to a more of a combined arms effort.”
