"I didn't cover her"

Kanye West apologized to his wife Kim Kardashian West on Twitter for his recent behavior.

"I want to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with a private matter," he said on Saturday. "I didn't treat her the way she covered me: http: // I want to say to Kim that I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."

The apology comes a few days after he posted cryptic news about his six-year-old wife.

In addition to a series of tweets that have since been cleared, West, who announced earlier this month that he was running for president, gave a spoken speech during a campaign event in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday, during which he broke the crying that he and Kardashian almost finished her first pregnancy.

He also claimed that he was trying to divorce Kardashian West since she had a meeting with rapper Meek Mill.

"I've been trying to get a divorce since Kim Meek met Mill in the Waldorf on & # 39; prison reform & # 39 ;," he wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted.

"Kim tried to get a doctor to lock me up with a doctor," he tweeted on Monday before deleting him. West's deleted tweets also included claims that the film "Get Out" was based on him and a request to his mother-in-law Kris Jenner to call him.

On Wednesday July 22nd, Kardashian West broke her silence about her husband's tweets.

"(Kanye) is a brilliant but complicated person who, in addition to being under pressure to be an artist and a black man who has experienced the painful loss of his mother, has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is exacerbated by his bipolar effect become (sic) disorder, "she wrote at the time. "Those close to Kanye know his heart and sometimes don't understand his words with his intentions."

"We as a society are talking about giving grace to mental health as a whole, but we should also give it to people who live with it in times when they need it most," said 39-year-old Stern. "I ask the media and the public to give us the compassion and empathy we need to get through this. Thank you for those who have taken care of Kanye's well-being and understanding."

The story goes on

West has spoken openly about living with bipolar disorder in the past, including a 2018 interview with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

"I think it's important for us to have mental health discussions," he said. "There are some bipolar cases where people go low, I'm one who goes high."
