Why Dan Morehead thinks Bitcoin Bull Run is coming

The world’s largest cryptocurrency by market cap has been placed in a state of continuous vibration. The price of bitcoin seems to be in constant volatility with little or no control. For the past few days, the bears have been gaining the upper hand in the BTC market. Therefore, Bitcoin’s performance was more southbound.

With the steady decline in BTC prices, mixed reactions have erupted in the crypto industry. Many people raised concerns when the price dropped below $20,000.

This limit is completely unexpected for the leading cryptocurrency. This is because BTC dominance over the altcoins is steadily declining, suggesting that the altcoins are performing better.

However, there are still some Bitcoin advocates who believe that all hope for the token is not lost. For Pantera Capital CEO Dan Morehead, BTC will soon have the bulls in action. The CEO believes that the price drop for Bitcoin will end as the token will recover quickly.

The future is brighter for Bitcoin

Dan Morehead, a bitcoin proponent, revealed his opinion in a recent interview for Bloomberg. He claimed that the future is brighter for BTC as the bull will soon overshadow the current bearish trend.

According to the CEO, having trends back and forth in the market is a normal experience. He mentioned that there had been similar situations in the past. The executive cited the 2018 price decline followed by a surprise uptrend in subsequent years.

The CEO predicted that BTC would rise nearly 2.5x annually. However, he stressed that the crypto space has seen many changes over the years. So other cryptocurrencies besides bitcoin and ether are making waves in the industry.

Morehead recalled that the crypto space has had three distinctive bear market cycles. For him, the order was that the crypto market had flattened out by June 2022.

He explained that while the current situation for the crypto asset still looks harsh and unstable, it is still a phase fading. As such, Morehead believes the next phase is coming with the bulls set for a rally.

Different opinions on the Future Bull Rally

Other participants in the crypto industry still have different opinions about a possible upside. For example, Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, laid out his forecast for the crypto market two weeks ago.

His stance on the crypto market is fundamentally different from Morehead’s. Armstrong urged companies to stay afloat as he believes the market’s decline will last longer.

According to Armstrong, it could be pleasant to forecast the future situation for the market. However, he believes the bearish trend will continue for the next 12 to 18 months.
