Whales are moving above $475,000,000 in Bitcoin (BTC), Polygon (MATIC) and XRP – here is the direction of the crypto
Crypto whales are suddenly moving hundreds of millions of dollars in prominent crypto assets including Bitcoin (BTC), Polygon (MATIC) and XRP.
New data from whale-watching platform Whale Alert, deep-pocketed crypto investors are moving king crypto finds to and from various wallets and crypto exchange platforms.
A wealthy investor moved 5,502 BTC worth $124,830,222 from one unknown wallet to another, while another investor moved 5,000 BTC worth $113,427,139 from one unknown wallet to another.
Other notable transactions, including the top crypto asset by market cap on Whale Alert’s radar are:
- 5,000 BTC worth $113,427,139 transferred from one unknown wallet to another unknown wallet.
- 902 BTC worth $20,549,808 transferred from crypto exchange Coinbase to unknown wallet.
- 1,300 BTC worth $29,859,483 transferred from unknown wallet to crypto exchange Coinbase.
Whale Alert is also drawing attention to whale activity centered on the Layer 2 scaling solution MATIC and XRP, the crypto asset used to power Ripple Labs payments platform.
The whale watching platform notes that wealthy investors moved 20,000,000 MATIC worth $26,589,171 from one unknown wallet to another and 18,000,000 MATIC worth $23,800,532 from another unknown wallet to another.
Moving on to XRP, Whale Alert draws attention to two transactions. The first has a crypto whale shuffling over 34,000,000 XRP worth $13,586,728 from an unknown wallet to crypto exchange Bitstamp.
In the second transaction, a well-funded trader moved 25,400,000 XRP worth $10,068,153 from crypto exchange Bitso to an undisclosed wallet.
