Trader who sold bitcoin on top returns to crypto markets and collects BTC, Ethereum, XRP and an additional altcoin
A savvy trader who sold Bitcoin (BTC) at its peak has returned to the crypto markets, hoarding BTC, Ethereum (ETH) and other altcoins.
In a new strategy session, pseudonymous crypto analyst DonAlt tells his 45,100 YouTube subscribers that he now wants to check if BTC can hold a key support level.
The trader says Wednesday’s massive daily candle is key, and he doesn’t want BTC to fully retrace below the $17,065 area.
If it can hold the line, DonAlt says it will be “hyper-bullish” on the leading digital asset.
“We kind of have to hope that this daily green candle lasts. They don’t want to trade anywhere below that looks fishy but as long as it is [hold]I will be hyper bullish.
It just makes sense to me… I have them [proper] Enter to risk it and I think it’s a good risk-reward setup because the reward is massive and that risk is pretty low.”
The analyst and trader, who first bought back BTC in the low $16,000s, also tells his 447,200 Twitter followers that he currently holds ETH, Litecoin (LTC), as well as Bitcoin.
When asked if LTC’s recent price drop put him off, DonAlt replies that he still plans to hold the peer-to-peer decentralized network.
“Yes, hold BTC > LTC > ETH.
Don’t really bother too much as long as USD [US Dollar] goes up on alts, has enough BTC to keep me happy even going solo.”
DonAlt then says he also bought XRP, the digital asset that’s a core part of Ripple Labs’ payments platform.
“Bought today. Bought a bunch of BTC for the long term. Bought some LTC as a trade. Bought some XRP for the meme.”
