The lack of significant price movement for Bitcoin continued throughout the weekend as the asset failed to move away from its $43,000 level.
The alternative coins are also unusually stable, with minor losses for ADA, DOT, LINK, MATIC and SOL.
BTC is stagnating at $43,000
The major cryptocurrency rebounded last Thursday from the drop in post-ETF listings that sent it down over ten grand in a matter of weeks. After this massive drop to $38,500, the asset went on the offensive and quickly rose to $40,000 this past weekend.
The business week got off to an even more impressive start as BTC started rising on Monday and saw a rise towards $44,000 on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, it failed to continue its uptrend and bears pushed it lower to $42,000 on Thursday after the Federal Reserve Chairman said there would be no changes to the central bank's monetary policy.
Bitcoin recovered somewhat on Friday but failed to decisively clear the $43,000 mark. The asset has largely remained at this level since then and continues to remain at this level now.
Its market cap is still just over $840 billion and its dominance over alts stands at 51.2% on CMC.
