South Korea’s “Kimchi Premium” Vaporizes; Major Cryptos Crash on Fed Minutes, Ongoing Global Uncertainty
In an interview with CoinDesk TV’s “First Mover” program, Scott Freeman, co-founder and partner at financial services firm JST Capital, hinted that global unrest has pushed the price of bitcoin down despite major buying over the past 10 days by Terras Luna Foundation and MicroStrategy impaired (MSTR), which bought over $190 million worth of crypto this week. “It’s hard to put a finger on Bitcoin’s movement right now,” Freeman said. “Ultimately, we believe there are business macro issues around that people just don’t want to take a chance on right now. People are looking for opportunities to sell and make profits.”
