Chloë Grace Moretz will star alongside Lewis Pullman and Ariana DeBose as Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan in an upcoming film based on Morgan's role in the $4 billion Bitfinex heist.
According to Hollywood trade magazine Deadline, “Dutch & Razzlekhan” will be directed by “Tetris” director Jon S. Baird and written by Logan Miller and Noah Miller. CAA Media Finance will organize the financing and distribution of the feature. Pullman will play Ilya “Dutch” Lichtenstein in the film, while DeBose's role has not yet been announced.
Based on a 2022 Business Insider article, the film tells the true story of Morgan and Lichtenstein, a pair of aspiring rappers and aspiring entrepreneurs who laundered over $4 billion worth of cryptocurrencies during the crypto hack -Bitfinex exchange were stolen in 2016.
The duo was arrested in February 2022 and reached a plea deal with authorities the following year. They face a maximum of 20 years in prison, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Moretz most recently appeared in the Amazon series “The Peripheral,” based on the cyberpunk novel by William Gibson, and starred in the Oscar-nominated Netflix film “Nimona.” Pullman's recent roles include the Amazon series “Outer Range” and “Top Gun: Maverick.” DeBose, who won the Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in “West Side Story,” was last seen in the spy band “Argylle.”

The film is one of several projects focused on Morgan and Lichtenstein in development. Earlier this year, Amazon MGM announced that it was developing a film simply titled Razzlekhan, which would be directed by Hannah Marks and produced by Lili Reinhart. A Hulu limited series “Razzlekhan: The Infamous Crocodile of Wall Street” starring Lily Collins is also in the works.
The entertainment industry has enjoyed success in recent years with films and series focusing on failed entrepreneurs (Hulu's “The Dropout” and Apple TV's “WeCrashed”), financial bros (“The Wolf of Wall Street” and “The Big Short”) and memes concentrate on stocks (“stupid money”).
Given his outsized personalities and massive amounts of money, it's no surprise that Hollywood has set its sights on the Razzlekhan saga – and crypto in general. There are also several films in development about the collapse of the crypto exchange FTX.
