Top crypto prices witnessed a positive shift today as Bitcoin (BTC) price neared the $68,000 mark while other altcoins gained significantly. Furthermore, Ethereum price rose to the $3,900 mark. Meanwhile, other top altcoins such as Solana (SOL), XRP, and Cardano (ADA) saw significant price increases.

Bitcoin price remained firmly above $67,000 after the recent rally. Bitcoin price rose by 1.75% to reach $67,129.10 at the time of writing on Friday, March 8. On the other hand, trading volume fell by 32.72% to $44.65 billion in the last 24 hours. The cryptocurrency now has a market capitalization of $1.31 trillion.
Among altcoins, Ethereum price was up 3.17% at $3,901.20 at press time with a market valuation of $468.61 billion. Meanwhile, ETH saw a 36.46% decrease in trading volume, reaching $21.70 billion. Meanwhile, the price of Binance Coin (BNB) increased by 9.69% to reach $470.13. Additionally, the 24-hour trading volume increased by 7.68% to $3.51 billion.
Solana price remained above the $140 level. Solana price rose 4.22% to settle at $144.54. On the contrary, SOL recorded a 1.01% decrease in trading volume to $5.97 billion in the last 24 hours. During the recovery, XRP price rose above $0.62. XRP price recorded a 1.31% increase and reached $0.6268. However, XRP trading volume fell by 23.05% to $2.17 billion.
Meanwhile, Cardano price rose 0.63% to $0.7391 today. Meanwhile, ADA saw its 24-hour trading volume decline by 29.69%, settling at $848.08 million. As top crypto prices saw a surge, popular meme coins also followed suit. Dogecoin price rose 8.19% to $0.1647, while the price of its competitor, Shiba Inu, gained 8.02% to trade at $0.00003358.

Floki rises by 35%
Floki (FLOKI), a well-known dog-faced meme coin, saw an impeccable 35% surge and was ranked as the top crypto gainer today. FLOKI price increased by 35.16% to $0.0001705 at the time of reporting. Furthermore, trading volume increased by 1.39% to $666.67 million. Furthermore, the FLOKI cryptocurrency reached a high of $0.000173 during the recent rally.
