Cardano Yield products go live on mainnet, here’s how to use them

Arman Shirinyan

DeFi’s role in the Cardano ecosystem is growing as new products are shipped

The yield farming and generation solution on Cardano is not the most popular part of the Cardano ecosystem. However, Optim Finance’s bonds and vaults are long-awaited products that are expected to bring more fundamental value to the ecosystem as a whole.

In its latest tweets, Optim announced the upcoming launch of mainnet that will bring Optim’s SPO liquidity bonds to life. From now on, users can properly borrow and guide the ADA delegation without a third party.

Investors can generate returns while contributing to the decentralization of the network. Lending is available to ecosystem projects, individuals and small pools of equity.

However, Optim will also implement additional on-chain products such as Real World Assets Vaults, which provide crypto liquidity through SME loans in the real world. RWA vaults and bonds aren’t the only passive investment vehicles that optimize returns on digital assets.

Cardano-based Optim also offers Strategy Vaults that automate fund allocation processes and help users capture the best DeFi-native return opportunities. However, the deployment of Strategy Vaults will not be possible without a robust DeFi ecosystem, which Cardano lacks as of this writing.

With the further development of decentralized financial solutions on Cardano, more projects like Optim will emerge in the ecosystem, deliberately increasing the fundamental value of Cardano as a network.

Despite the popularity of assuming the anemic state of the digital asset industry during bear markets, development activities on networks like Cardano and Ethereum never stop and are even increasing amid the panic in the cryptocurrency markets.

At press time, Cardano is trading at $0.31 with almost no price change in the last 24 hours.
