The world’s largest crypto exchange Binance announced its closure on Friday Sandbox NFT staking program At the end of the month. Additionally, users cannot stake their LAND NFTs hosted on the Polygon network as collateral Binance NFT marketplace is discontinuing Polygon support while also terminating the Sandbox NFT staking program.
Binance removes NFTs on the Polygon network
Crypto exchange Binance announced the decision to discontinue its sandbox NFT staking program in an official announcement on September 8th. The exchange said the decision was made after thorough consideration and evaluation, which is part of efforts to improve product offerings on the Binance NFT Marketplace.
Users cannot bet LAND NFTs hosted on the Polygon network starting September 26th to earn SAND rewards. Binance will automatically unload all LAND NFTs and return them to users’ accounts by the end of the month.
Additionally, Binance will discontinue NFT support on the Polygon network starting September 26th. Users must withdraw their NFTs on the Polygon network from the Binance NFT Marketplace by December 31st. Actually Buy, deposit, offer or list NFTs Polygon network on the Binance NFT Marketplace will be completely discontinued.
CoinGape Media reported that Binance’s delisting and removal of Cardano and Polygon’s spot, margin and perpetual trading pairs increased following the SEC and CFTC lawsuits.
On August 17, Binance delisted the permanent contacts of Cardano (ADA) and Polygon (MATIC) in BUSD pairs. Additionally, on September 1, the exchange removed Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), and 37 other liquidity pools.
