The 41-year-old, who has struggled with alcohol addiction, said he was at “the lowest level I’ve ever had” despite his famous sister having spent £ 20,000 on rehab to help him in the past.
“I’ve been begging here for over three months and it’s something that really broke my heart,” he said.
“I shouldn’t be here with my family. It’s awful. “
Andrew – who has a long history of violent crime – isn’t the only star sibling out of joint.
From Gordon Ramsay’s drug addiction brother to Mariah Carey’s ex-sex worker sister, here are the family members whose lives are millions of miles away from their showbiz siblings.

Gordon talked about Brother Ronnie’s addiction years
The TV chef has commented on how he tried to help his younger brother overcome his lifelong drug addiction.
Ronnie, 53, started using drugs as a teenager and has been homeless his entire life. In 2007 he was arrested in Indonesia for possession of heroin.
In a 2017 documentary about cocaine, Gordon Ramsay, the Hell’s Kitchen star said that Ronnie’s spiral of addiction changed his attitude towards drugs early on.
He said, “I was very anti-drug very early in my life and watched my brother fuck his life from coke to heroin.
He also recalled having to buy drugs to get Ronnie to attend her father Gordon Sr.’s funeral.
“I went to a dealer once and had to take my little brother to an apartment to take him to our father’s funeral,” he said.
“That was bloody grim and it was a huge shock to see how far he has gone.”
Madonna’s brother – homeless and alcoholic
Madonna’s brother Anthony Ciccone is fighting alcoholism
The Queen of Pop amassed a fortune of £ 620 million, but older brother Anthony Ciccone’s life got out of control due to his alcohol addiction.
After being fired from his job at the family winery for passing out after drinking from the barrels, he slept rough, slept under a bridge in Michigan, and survived temperatures as low as -30 ° C.
Despite repeated offers of help from his family, Anthony, 65, accused his megastar sister of neglecting his plight.
“Madonna doesn’t give up whether I’m dead or alive,” he said in 2013.
“She lives in her own world. I never loved her, she never loved me We never loved each other. “
He eventually sought help from a revolutionary rehab facility for homeless addicts that allows residents to drink alcohol while it is slowly being broken down.
The family took him in after treatment in 2017 and said he was “at home” and “recovering”.
Meghan Markle’s brother – homeless
Meghan Markle’s brother Tom became homeless after a love split
Meghan’s brother Tom Markle was homeless and penniless after breaking up with his fiancé last year.
The 54-year-old said he was tired of his sister going out to charity when her own family was in dire need.
He was forced to move in with his elderly mother after his life “fell apart” and he says his mental health has deteriorated since Meghan met Prince Harry.
He added: “The connection with Meghan almost destroyed me.
“I’m homeless and I could have begged for money under a bridge with a cardboard sign. Fortunately, my mother took me in.
“Mentally it’s been a terrible nightmare since Meghan started dating Harry.”
Tom’s fortune has improved since then – as he starred in this year’s Australian version of Celebrity Big Brother.

The Dream Lover singer – valued at £ 230 million – has a long-term argument with her older sister Alison and brother Morgan.
Alison, a former prostitute who is HIV positive, has made worrying allegations against her mother Patricia in the past, alleging that she was forced to sit in a pedophile’s car as a child and was sexually assaulted.
Last year, the 58-year-old filed a lawsuit against Patricia, accusing her mother of forcing her to engage in sexual acts on strangers when she was only 10 years old, and also alleged watching other children being abused and even stabbed to death were in “satanic rituals”.
Patricia never responded to the allegations and was unavailable.
Alison, who has fought against drug addiction, previously claimed she was having trouble paying rent and feeding her four children.
In her memoir, Mariah accused Alison of trying to perk her up and pouring a cup of hot water over her at age 12 – which Alison denies.
Mariah, 51, has previously claimed that she has “forgiveness in my heart” for her siblings but has no plans to meet them.
She added, “Here’s the thing: you’ve been ruthless just heartless about me as a person for most of my life. I would never have talked about my family if they hadn’t done it first. “
Christopher Nolan’s brother – contract killer conspiracy
Award-winning director Nolan and his brother Matthew
Interstellar director Christopher Nolan’s brother Matthew was allegedly part of a terrifying hit man in Costa Rica in 2005.
Costa Rican authorities alleged the Briton was hired by jeweler Robert Breska to kill his accountant Robert Cohen after £ 5 million was stolen from him.
Matthew was accused of using a fake ID and hiring a bellboy to kidnap, torture and murder Cohen.
The page was convicted of Cohen’s kidnapping and murder, but Matthew fled to the United States before being charged.
In 2009, he was arrested by the FBI after appearing in Chicago court over independent bankruptcy proceedings, but a judge ruled that he could not be extradited because of insufficient evidence from the Costa Rican authorities.
He was later found guilty of escaping prison after attempting to break out of a Chicago prison using 31 feet of rope from sheets, a razor hidden in a mattress, a metal clip that could open handcuffs, and a harness.

The Hollywood star’s older brother, John Draper Witherspoon, was charged with serious burglary and sexual abuse in October 2002.
Witherspoon’s neighbor in Nashville, Tennessee, accused him of breaking into her home through an unlocked door and sexually assaulting her while she was still sleepy.
John, who was struggling with drinking problems at the time, was given a suspended sentence for the incident.
But Reese, 45, has stayed close to her brother and posted a picture of the two in April to celebrate National Sibling Day.
She wrote, “My greatest supporter and cheer since day one. I love you Big Bro!”

Leonardo DiCaprio’s stepbrother, Adam Farrar, has long struggled with drug addiction and petty theft.
Adam’s addiction, himself a former actor, led to a string of supermarket robberies and in 2016 he went on the run after stealing £ 800 worth of goods from a store.
He claims his famous stepbrother turned his back on him after his arrests, even though the two were close in childhood.
A source told the Sun, “Farrar has had a history of drugs and while he promises to get clean he gets caught up in something else. Leo is compassionate, but this is the latest in a long line of crimes and he’s finished off his leash. “
In November 2016, Farrar told the Daily Mail: “[DiCaprio and I] were so close once. I loved him and I still do. But we haven’t spoken for a couple of years. “
He added, “I have been arrested five or six times for petty theft, shoplifting from supermarkets, and trying to support an opiate addiction of one to one gram a day.
“Leo and I never had a fight. But he began to surround himself with people who didn’t want me. He’s the biggest star in the world and there I am, messed up with drugs. I was slowly being excluded from his world. “
Despite claiming not to have had drugs since 2013, he and his partner Charity Moore lost custody of daughter Normandie, 15, in 2014 because of her addiction. She is raised by Leo’s mother and stepfather.
Dave’s brother – murder
Mercury Award Winner Dave Says His Jail Brother Is His “Hero”
Rapper Dave – real name David Omoregie – won the Mercury Prize in 2020 for his debut album Psychodrama and then appeared on Netflix’s Top Boy.
But his older brother Christopher Omoregie was imprisoned in London’s Victoria Station in 2010 for the brutal stabbing of Sofyen Belamouadden.
The 15-year-old student was kicked, beaten and stabbed nine times by a gang of 20 teenagers in what was described as “ferocious and merciless”.
Omoregie, then 18, was sentenced to at least 18 years in prison for murder.
London-based Dave created controversy by adding his brother’s voice to the opening track of Psychodrama before rapping that he’s “the only person I’ve ever adored” and “my hero”.
He also asked the question, “Is it the survival of the fittest or is he a killer?” but Sofyen’s mother criticized the route as “disgusting”.
