Carrie Underwood and John Legend get in the holiday mood.
The 37-year-old country superstar and 41-year-old EGOT winner have released a music video for their new song “Hallelujah,” which can be seen on Underwood’s latest vacation album, My Gift.
On Thursday, the video premiered exclusively on Facebook and the couple teamed up to sing the powerful track that Legend co-wrote on a cold winter night.
“This song and its message are desperately needed right now and I’m honored to have it on my Christmas album, My Gift,” said Underwood of the title in a teaser clip she shared with her Instagram stories earlier this week. “I hope you like it.”
In addition to a number of original holiday tracks, Underwood’s Christmas album also includes covers of popular classics such as “O Holy Night” and “O Come All Ye Faithful”.
“I started working on this album last fall and recorded it in the spring … so I’ve literally been living with Christmas music for a year!” she told PEOPLE earlier this month. “I hope the album will be a soundtrack for the people who are preparing for Christmas and celebrating it. That would make me happy.”

The album also features a special collaboration with someone who is very dear to Underwood: their 5 year old son Isaiah.
“The first time I heard it, I was laughing and crying at the same time because it was just that beautiful, pure moment of his,” Underwood said during a recent episode of PEOPLE (the TV show!) In which he was playing hers Son overheard “Little Drummer.”
“He did such a great job,” she continued. “He remembered the lyrics and sang them with all his heart.”
For even more holiday fun, fans can stream Underwood’s new Amazon Original Christmas song entitled “Favorite Time of Year” on Amazon Music. HBO Max will also stream an exclusive, brand new vacation special starting December 3rd, with Underwood performing songs from My Gift with a live orchestra and choir.
