While title hopes Arsenal ended up missing out World record commitment by Alessia Russo from Manchester United on deadline day, they were able to strengthen their squad during the time slot after losing players of the caliber Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema to injury.

England international Jordan Nobbs left Arsenal for Aston Villa after 12 years at a club with which she won 12 trophies.

Nobbs had been mainly used as a substitute by Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall this season and Villa could offer her a chance for more playing time ahead of this summer’s World Cup.
“It’s a big signing for us and Jordan is one of the most accomplished footballers in the country,” said Villa manager Carla Ward.
“She is a winner and will bring a wealth of experience that will benefit her new team-mates.”

Beth England left Chelsea after seven years at Chelsea
Euro 2022 winner Beth England joined Tottenham from Chelsea on a three-and-a-half-year deal that broke the WSL transfer record.
England have been an integral part of the Chelsea team and have been particularly important in the 2019/20 season.
As with Nobbs, her playing time had been restricted prior to her move.
England scored on their debut for Tottenham in their 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa in WSL.

Although not a ‘transfer’, it is Liverpool defender Gilly Flaherty decision to retire of football during this window makes them worthy of being included in this list.
Flaherty ended a 17-year playing career in which she won four WSL titles, seven women’s FA Cups and one Uefa Cup.
She retired from the sport after setting a record 177 times in the WSL.
Flaherty said: “The loss of my father just before Christmas left me heartbroken – we have shared our love of football for 22 years and, playfully, I wouldn’t want to continue without him by my side.
“The time has come for me to be with my family and to be closest to those closest to me.”
Estelle Cascarino

Manchester United had a good window with The French Estelle Cascarino among their signings.
The defender joined Marc Skinner on loan from Paris St-Germain, where she won the Coupe de France last season.
Cascarino, whose twin sister Delphine starred at Euro 2022, said she was excited to be part of the United squad.
“I want to grow as a player and as a person and help the team win trophies,” she said.
“I’m a fighter on the pitch and I enjoy helping the team both in attack and defence. I can’t wait to get started here in England.”
Mana Iwabuchi
Mana Iwabuchi has been at Arsenal since 2021
Fans and pundits alike were surprised to see Mana Iwabuchi Move to Tottenham.
Iwabuchi joined Spurs after struggling for game time at rivals Arsenal in north London.
She said: “I’m an intelligent player. I bring that onto the pitch for the team and try to do my part. Now I’m a Spurs player so I’m trying to do my best.”
Iwabuchi scored her first goal for Tottenham before the January transfer window closed, scoring in Spurs’ 5-0 FA Cup fourth round win over the London City Lionesses.
