Wolves are struggling to “find that magical person” who can turn their creative development into goals, says their former winger Matt Jarvis.
Julen Lopetegui’s side lost in the Premier League at Anfield on Wednesday and Jarvis says their lack of cutting edge is no secret.
“They played well against Liverpool but unfortunately they’re not able to convert their really good game into goals,” he told ` Radio 5 Live Breakfast.
“They had all their chances and possession but they’re just trying to turn their strikers around.
“The build-up play is fantastic but goals are the most important thing.”
Jarvis praised Lopetegui for improving Wolves’ form but with the side just three points clear of the last three he knows there is still work to be done.
“He turned it around and they got some really important wins against teams down there with them,” Jarvis said. “But losing at home to Bournemouth was a real disappointment.”
