Angry Wests Tigers The fans are reportedly planning a protest during the club’s next game against Parramatta, after a fiendish start to the NRL Season. The Tigers were beaten 46-12 by the Broncos last week and sent them to an 0-5 start for the second straight season.
In an embarrassing piece of history, the Tigers became the first team since 1968 to start two consecutive seasons without a win in their first five games. As well as a plethora of problems on the pitch, the club has also endured a number of off-pitch dramas.

CEO Justin Pascoe came under fire when he was spotted on the field before the game against the Broncos and in the locker room at halftime. defender Daine Laurie was then slammed by fans for “liking” a video of Selwyn Cobbo showing a goal against the Tigers after Laurie dropped to the reserves.
And things got even worse on Tuesday, when fans and commentators took notice of the club’s situation Commemorative jersey for Anzac Day shows American soldiers rather than Australian ones. With all the drama, fans have clearly had enough.
A number of fans have founded the “Wests Tigers Action Group” on Facebook, with Wide world of sports reporting This protest action is in progress for the Easter Monday match at the Accor stadium. The report says fans are “considering a variety of moves,” one of which is a mid-game walk-out.
The group also reportedly plans to get up and turn their backs on the field in the 11th minute – an indication that the Tigers have not advanced to the Finals in 11 years. The last time the joint venture played finals football was in 2011 when they finished fourth in the rankings before losing in the semifinals.
The group’s administrator, Clint Schmeider, told Wide World of Sports: “We have been results poor for over a decade and nothing seems to be changing. The fans have had enough… This isn’t aimed at the players – it’s the people who run the club that need to be held accountable. They make the bad decisions and we fans suffer because of that.”

Tim Sheens confident the Tigers can turn things around
After the blow to the Broncos, coach Tim Sheens said he was confident things would change soon. “They’re a quality group of guys and they have talent individually. We just have to put the 17 people together and make sure it works,” he said.
“That’s my job… and as a coaching group, we have to put it together. Don’t take them apart or worry about them because it will only make them worse. We have a lot to carry and saying that we all have to work a lot harder – staff and players.
“Things like that can happen. Of course, the more you get beaten, the harder it is to dig you out, but we have to find a way and we will keep working hard on it. You get one win, you’ll get two, and maybe you’re ready to go.” Significantly, Sheens joked, “I hope we hit the reunion in a couple of weeks.”
The manager has again announced the changes for the clash against the Eels, with Adam Doueihi returning to five eighths after two games as a full-back. However, Laurie is still on the outside, while Charlie Staines has been named at full-back in what will be the team’s fourth spine change in as many weeks.
