West Ham United 0-6 Arsenal: The Gunners claim a comfortable victory and close the gap to the league leaders

Leandro Trossard made the final score 4-0 with a great curling effort shortly before half-time

Arsenal secured their biggest away win in the Premier League with a ruthless victory over West Ham and moved to within two points of leaders Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta's side remain third but are now behind second-placed Manchester City only on goals scored after they overturned a six-goal deficit on a stunning afternoon at the London Stadium.

It is West Ham's heaviest home defeat in the Premier League and their heaviest ever, along with their 8-2 loss to Blackburn in the 1963/64 season.

An exceptional first half saw the Gunners take a 4-0 lead thanks to goals from William Saliba, Gabriel, Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard, leaving the home side stunned.

Saka marched through a static Hammers defense to score his second goal after the break before Declan Rice made it 6-0 against his former club with a rocketing long-range effort.
