Victorian football clubs have the opportunity to apply for the latest round of funding through Sport and Recreation Victoria.
The Sporting Club Grants Program provides funding to community sport and active recreation organizations across Victoria. The application deadline ends on October 12th.
Access to this funding helps grassroots clubs and organizations remove barriers to participation, develop safe and sustainable practices, and build social and active local communities.
Category 1: Uniforms or on-field equipment
Up to $1,000 toward the purchase of on-field game uniforms, competitor and active participant equipment, safety, injury prevention and first aid supplies.
Category 2: Volunteers and civil servants
Up to $2,000 for projects that provide practical improvements to strengthen volunteerism and leadership.
Category 3: Access and Engagement
Up to $1,000 to fund tools and resources that improve accessibility and governance and strengthen engagement with members and participants; or
Up to $4,000 to plan and implement a new sport or active recreation program.
Category 4: Participants
Up to $750 for travel, accommodation and event registration fees for individual athletes selected to participate in representative competitions, selection trials or training camps.
Eligible events include events with a national or international focus, as well as events that are regionally specific and recognized by a relevant sports organization. The application deadline ends on October 31st.
The Significant Sporting Events Program supports sporting, community and event organizations to deliver significant sporting events in Victoria. Closes October 31st.
