The return of Jon Jones was highly anticipated, but it was Alexa Grasso who shocked the world on Saturday night by defeating Valentina Shevchenko in the fourth round of Saturday night’s UFC 285 co-main event in Las Vegas. Grasso was a huge underdog entering the fight but sustained numerous takedown attempts and locked in the rear naked choke to force the champion to tap.
Grasso joins Brandon Moreno as Mexican champion and both will watch interim champion Yair Rodriguez earn his shot at the featherweight title later this year.
