CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – The Cheyenne Veterans Administration is partnering with Adaptive Adventures to host Multi-Sport Day at Curt Gowdy State Park from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
The event will showcase adaptive devices for people with disabilities and create a space for attendees to discover a community that can help them enjoy outdoor recreation.
Registration for this event is free and open to all ages and abilities. Events will be held at the Curt Gowdy Visitor Center and the Granite Springs Boat Ramp.
“It’s just important that people realize that not everyone has the same skillset, and we’re a supportive, friendly state,” said Kristina Richardson, an advocate for people with accessibility needs.
Activities include adaptive bikes, a mobile climbing wall, and kayaks.
