The Giants’ Daniel Jones is back at Cressey Sports Performance

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones may be out of contract right now, but that’s not slowing him down one bit.

Jones was back at it this week, returning to Cressey Sports Performance for the second straight off-season. He set to work preparing his body for the upcoming season with a variety of exercises designed to increase strength and explosiveness.

Because the Giants have a returning head coach, they won’t be allowed to start their offseason training program until April 17. Accordingly, Jones made his way to Massachusetts to get a head start.

The Giants and Jones are also currently in “bumpy” negotiations with the quarterback, who is reportedly targeting more than $45 million annually. However, these reports have not been solidly confirmed (only many “believe” and “maybe”).

Jones is coming off his best season yet, rushing for nearly 4,000 total yards and 22 combined touchdowns while leading the Giants to their first playoff win since Super Bowl XLVI.

Expect Jones and the Giants to agree on a long-term deal.
