The weather was a concern at halftime of Arizona State’s game against Southern Utah on Thursday in Tempe.
Arizona State officials suspended the game just before 9 p.m. MST after halftime after dust, lightning and wind hit Mountain America Stadium to end the first half.
The game is scheduled to resume around 11:30 p.m

A dust storm rolled over the stadium about 11 seconds before half-time. A National Weather Service warning was in effect until 8:45 p.m. southeast of Tempe.

An emergency alert was sent just after 8:30 p.m., warning of a dust storm from the NWS until 10:30 p.m
The Sun Devils fought through two time-outs to catch a touchdown pass from Jaden Rashada to Cam Skattebo just before half-time to make the score 21-7.
A thunderstorm warning is in effect until 9:15 p.m. for southern and eastern Maricopa County, including Casa Grande, Maricopa and Queen Creek.
Wind gusts could reach up to 70 miles per hour in the area south of Tempe, according to the NWS.
