Stephen Curry reveals why golf is ‘the hardest sport to master’

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry knows what it takes to play basketball at the highest level, so he could attest to how difficult it is to master the game and be truly great at it. Still, he doesn’t consider it the “hardest sport to master.”

Instead, Curry believes it’s golf that gets that honor.

In an interview with PGA Tour, the Warriors guard shared his love for the sport and why he believes it’s really difficult to master, stressing that even today’s best golfers can attest that despite their status, there is one seems to give higher level they can reach.

“I think it’s probably the most difficult sport to master. … A lot of great memories I have are playing golf,” Curry shared, per Bleacher Report.

Stephen Curry’s attitude certainly carries some weight considering he’s one of the best basketball players not only in the NBA but in the entire world. If one of the best feels that golf is really difficult to master, then there must be something about the sport that makes it so challenging.

Maybe that’s why a few other athletes enjoy golf alongside the Warriors star. Who could forget last year’s The Match starring Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes?

While the game of golf has received much criticism and many say that golfers are not athletes, Curry clearly proves that this is not the case.
