NORTH FIELD, Minn. – Several Carleton College sporting events have had their start times/dates changed due to unpredictable weather this spring. While many of these competitions have already been played, some have yet to be played/rescheduled. The latest schedule changes are highlighted in yellow below (updated: Friday 29th April):
baseball
• March 30 – 9-inning game postponed at Bethany Lutheran College…no lineup information available.
• April 4th – DH vs. Northland College postponed…no lineup information available.
• April 24 – 9-inning game vs. Crown College (previously rescheduled to April 18) postponed again…no update information available.
• 29 April – Game 2 v Hamline University suspended due to rain, Carleton leading 4-3 midway through the 5th inning … due to finish at 1pm on Sunday 1st May
• May 2nd – DH at Concordia College-Moorhead (previously postponed to April 16th) has been postponed again because Concordia had to schedule another double flight to that date…postponed to Thursday, May 5th, starting at 2:30pm
soft ball
• April 15 – DH vs. Concordia College-Moorhead (previously postponed to April 2) postponed again…postponed to Monday, May 2, starting at 2:00 p.m
• May 1st — DH at Macalester The college was moved to a 3:30 p.m. start time due to forecasts of rain earlier in the day.
women’s tennis
• May 1 – The game at Bethel University remains at 2:00 p.m. but is moved to the Rogers (MN) Tennis Club due to rain forecast on Sunday.
