` Sport is bringing live TV and digital coverage of the remainder of the 2023-24 NBA season to new audiences and basketball fans across the UK.
The collaboration will see matches broadcast live on the `, including ` One, ` Three and ` iPlayer, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the season and follow the excitement on the pitch. Five regular season games are confirmed, with an additional four playoff and finals games from April through June to keep basketball fans updated.
Coverage begins with an Eastern Conference clash on Friday February 23rd on ` One as the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Philadelphia 76ers live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. After last season's Finals, in which the Denver Nuggets won their first NBA championship by defeating the Miami Heat, anticipation is building as to who will be crowned the 2024 NBA champions.
As well as live games, the ` Sport website and app will cover the best moments from the entire season, bringing fans the top action from the world's biggest professional basketball league.
Philip Bernie, interim director of ` Sport, said: “Last year we brought our audiences live and free-to-air NBA games. This year, we now have some of the biggest games of the season featuring the NBA's biggest stars, and fans can also follow the action on our website and app.”
