Researchers from Loughborough University visited Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week to witness the NFL’s International Combine firsthand.
The International Combine is a behind-closed-doors scouting showcase where talented athletes are tested across multiple disciplines to assess their American football talents.
Loughborough players attended the event in an attempt to impress NFL officials.
The NFL Academy recently relocated its operations to the area in a groundbreaking partnership with the university and Loughborough College.
NFL Academy provides students ages 16-19 with avenues for employment, education and the opportunity to play NCAA college football in the United States by combining a full-time education with professional American football coaching.
The day also allowed attendees to network, collaborate and share research ideas.
