Coventry City are expected to be without attacking midfielder Kasey Palmer for next month's FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United due to suspension.
Palmer, who started Coventry's dramatic 3-2 win over Wolves on Saturday, received a yellow card in injury time for running onto the pitch in his shirt to celebrate Haji Wright's dramatic late winner, although he had already been sent off in the game.
After receiving the card, Palmer tweeted: “By far my favorite yellow card of my career.”
However, as Palmer has been booked for the second time in the FA Cup this season, he will face a one-match ban for next month's Wembley semi-final against the Red Devils.
United winger Amad Diallo, who was sent off after scoring the winning goal against Liverpool on Sunday, will not be suspended for the semi-final but will be suspended for United's Premier League game against Brentford on March 30.
Unlike yellow card suspensions, red card suspensions are not competition-specific.
