Dave Doeren was asked what changes he would make to the landscape of college football.

There is so much going wrong in college football right now. Um, so, you know, to me, you've heard that everyone has come up with their own things, and you know, right now it's just about creating some enforceable rules, uh, equality on the playing field in the NIO- World. I don't know how you do it, but it's the Wild West and, you know, just greed and, um, a lack of character and integrity has driven the sport, which is pretty disappointing to see. I can't sit here after a loss and tell you how to fix it, man. I won't do that, but it needs to be fixed, there needs to be leadership to do it. And, um, you know, it has to start at the top, I mean, it has to be at the commissioner level or the president level, um, or maybe even higher. So, but with this rule issued by the courts, some bad things have come about and now we're all trying to figure out how to just live in this world and do our best. And it's tough, you know, we have 52 that have been in college football for 30 years now. It's not going in the right direction and it's still a great product. I mean, it's an incredible sport to watch right now. There is no doubt about it, but it is a team sport that starts with character and morals, integrity, toughness, togetherness, fight and resilience. I have never heard of stealing each other's players, greed and all that is part of the formula of this sport. But that's exactly what we have.
