KANSAS CITY, Kan. —

Morris put Seattle (3-1-1) ahead in the 54th minute, scoring with assists from Chú and João Paulo. He completed a hat trick when he took a pass from Nicolás Lodeiro and scored in the 69th minute. Chú collected his third assist and Albert Rusnák his first from Morris’s final net of the evening – in the 77th minute.
