Former Scotland Under-20 player Mitch Eadie joined Bristol aged 18 but only made four appearances in his last season at Ashton Gate
Former Bristol and Northampton forward Mitch Eadie has joined the Toronto Arrows in North American Major League Rugby.
The 30-year-old left Ashton Gate at the end of his contract in the summer.
The back line played more than 150 games over two spells at Bristol, winning promotion to the Premiership in 2016 and spending three years at Northampton.
“As the sport has grown in North America in recent years, this is the perfect opportunity for a new challenge,” said Eadie.
“It is clear that the Arrows have serious ambitions and that the club’s goals are aligned with my own personal and professional ambitions,” Eadie added on the club’s website.
