We move forward albeit with great disappointment.” The former QPR boss believes that Celtic are “worthy” of their lead at the top of the table but will keep fighting. He said: “I don’t want to say anything against their achievements and what they are doing. “It is important that we are stronger Rangers. I think the form of late is the form of a team that can last through a season and stay at the top. “It wasn’t more than two or three weeks before I got into the role and here we are, all we can do is play the next game ahead and keep trying to win it. The weekend was an isolated game in a cup final. It’s a 50-50, neck and neck and we came up short and we were all to blame. “There are no excuses for not doing so well over the weekend. “We We had to do our best to have a chance of winning this game and we didn’t.”
