American Coco Gauff reached the round of 16 at the Miami Open with a straight-sets win over Oceane Dodin.
US Open champion Gauff fell behind with a break of serve and was down 4-2 in the opening set.
But the 20-year-old showed an emphatic response, winning the next ten games without reply to secure victory in just over an hour.
The third-seeded Gauff is waiting for the number 23 seeded Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia or the four-time major winner from Japan Naomi Osaka.
Elsewhere in the women's draw, fifth seed American Jessica Pegula defeated Canadian Leylah Fernandez 7-5 6-4 to set up a meeting with 22-year-old compatriot Emma Navarro.
Navarro recorded a three-set win over number 12 seed Italian Jasmine Paolini, prevailing 6-2, 3-6, 6-0.
Tenth seed Russian Daria Kasatkina is out after losing 7-5, 6-4 to Romania's Sorana Cirstea.
On Saturday, Britain's Katie Boulter reached the round of 16 of the Miami Open for the first time by defeating Beatriz Haddad Maia, followed by Victoria Azarenka of Belarus.
