Man Utd 3-1 Fulham: Your thoughts on Sunday’s game

We asked your opinion on Sunday’s FA Cup match between Manchester United and Fulham.

Here are some of your comments:

Manchester United fans

Akin: United were lucky but all cup runs need a bit of luck. Fulham pressed the self-destruct button. United under Ten Hag are poised to challenge for the title with another transfer window or two.

Dazz: We United looked tired and sometimes poor. The first half was shocking. I have no idea how Maguire starts. The red cards were the turning point and we punished Fulham from there. Old Trafford was as loud as ever on the full-time whistle.

Marvin: United looked tired. Another goal from a set piece. Luckily for them, Fulham self-destructed. Results matter and few will remember the dismissals.

Agim: Was it a good performance from Manchester United? Probably not! Fulham took full advantage of that, then discipline let them down! We definitely need to get better, some of the passes were terrible. Maguire and McTominay can’t be there next season – just not good enough.

Fulham fans

George: It was a definite penalty and Willian had to go. Mitro has to be suspended at the end of the season, you can never be that aggressive towards a referee.

Sarah: Supported Fulham for 30 years, several ups and a few downs. After that performance, I’m embarrassed to be a Fulham fan. Mitro and Silva should be ashamed. We describe ourselves as a family-friendly club. We’re having a fantastic season, but it left a very sour aftertaste. Furious.

Murray: We were the better team until we were sent off. Mitro doesn’t need to get involved. Abandon yourself and the club. Mr. Silva should have had more composure.

Benjamin: Really disappointed. So good for so long Willian took the red on his chin. I’m sorry, but both Marco and Mitro need to keep a cool head.
