The “Leading with Impact” module. will focus on engaging and participating in a Trust, Alignment, and Autonomy workshop to map your current landscape, understand you and your leadership philosophy, and learn how to influence the way you impact others can lead and further improve.
Who should participate?
Our learning and development opportunities are designed to support the UK’s national governing bodies, the UK Sports Institute (UKSI) and our partners to enable our high performance community to achieve their full potential on the world Olympic and Paralympic stage.
This module is aimed at anyone who wants to gain a new perspective on their leadership style in relation to the dynamics of trust, alignment and autonomy, while understanding techniques to flex and adapt their leadership style to get the best out of others. This could include:
- Lead and manage individuals, teams and projects
- Go through a transition as a leader and/or team
- Would you like to gain a new perspective on your leadership style regarding the dynamics of trust, alignment and autonomy?
- You want to understand techniques to change and adapt your leadership style to get the best out of others
Learning achievements
At the end of this module you should be able to conduct a critical analysis of leadership and provide the following answers:
- What does trust look like among my team and my stakeholders?
- What are we doing too?
- What is the coordination between my team and my stakeholders?
- Is the level of autonomy appropriate for the current situation and the people on my team?
