Ireland has been eliminated from the Rugby World Cup.
Andy Farrell’s side suffered a bitter four-point defeat to New Zealand in the quarter-finals in Paris this evening.
It ended 28 points to 24 in favor of the All Blacks, with Irish tries coming from Bundee Aki and Jamison Gibson Park as well as a penalty try.
However, it wasn’t enough for Ireland to reach the semi-finals for the first time.
New Zealand will face Argentina in the semi-finals after Michael Cheika’s side beat Wales earlier.
The Cougars won 29 points to 17 after trailing 10-0 at one point in the first half.
