Anthony Davis walked out of Sunday’s Lakers-Grizzlies Game 1 with an apparent arm injury.
The Los Angeles Lakers made contact while securing a traffic recovery and immediately grabbed his right shoulder and stated, “I can’t move my arm.” He went into the dressing room at 1:15 at halftime and didn’t return until halftime return. The Lakers didn’t provide an immediate status update at halftime.
Davis was a force on the field at both sides in the first half, recording 10 points, six rebounds and five blocks as he repeatedly challenged Grizzlie’s shots at the post.
The Grizzlies shot 51.1% from the floor despite Davis’ efforts and went into halftime with a 65-59 lead.
This is an evolving story that will be updated.
