England vs Sweden: ` Sport readers' Lionesses team for the Euro 2025 qualifier at Wembley Stadium

Earlier this week we asked you to choose your England team as they begin their defense of their European Championship title with a qualifier against Sweden on Friday.

Coach Sarina Wiegman has named numerous familiar faces in her 23-member squad, as well as some exciting new additions. But who did you choose?

Well, you've decided to stick with the tried and tested.

More than 80% of you chose a 4-3-3 formation, so we made the team based on that.

Manchester United's Mary Earps was a compelling choice in goal despite Hannah Hampton's impressive form at Chelsea, featuring in 83% of the teams.

In defense there were three standout picks, with Barcelona's Lucy Bronze (91%) the most popular pick in the team, while Arsenal's Leah Williamson (76%) returned and Manchester City's Alex Greenwood (82%) got the nod. The final pick was much closer, with Jess Carter (40%) edging out Chelsea teammate Niamh Charles (35%), despite not being the most popular pick at any position.

In midfield, Barcelona's Keira Walsh (73%) will again get the vote alongside Bayern Munich's Georgia Stanway (81%), while Chelsea's Lauren James (71%), second in the Women's Super League top scorers list, will be asked to play a slightly deeper role play than she is used to at club level.

James beats Manchester United's Ella Toone (50%) and in-form Manchester City midfielder Jess Park, as well as Tottenham loanee Grace Clinton, who scored on her debut in the last camp.

At the top, Arsenal's Beth Mead (62%) and Manchester City's Lauren Hemp (81%) occupy the wings, with Gunners striker Alessia Russo (75%) preferred to Aston Villa's Rachel Daly (41%) on the wing central striker position.

But which team will Wiegman field at Wembley Stadium? You can still choose your side below, but this will not change the final starting lineup.
