HARTFORD, Conn. — Hartford police confirmed they are searching the Sports and Medical Science Academy building following a reported bomb threat early Friday morning.
Officials said the threat came over the top of the school around 6:30 a.m
All bus pickups and drop-offs for the school were diverted to the Richard J. Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts at this time, Hartford Public Schools said.

It is the second reported bomb threat at the school since December. On December 2, 2022, around 6:30 a.m., school officials also received a vague threat via email, prompting a search of the building.
The police are currently investigating.
