` confirms Africa Cup of Nations rights deal – Watch live matches, including the opening game and final, on ` Three and iPlayer

The ` will provide comprehensive live coverage of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast, televising ten matches as well as highlights from other matches, which will be available on ` Sport's online and social media channels .

The 34th edition of the tournament begins on Saturday 13 January with the opening match between Ivory Coast and Guinea-Bissau, broadcast live on ` Three and ` iPlayer. The group stage clash between Ghana and Egypt will also be broadcast live on Thursday, January 18th, as will Zambia against Morocco on Wednesday, January 24th.

` Three and iPlayer will bring viewers two games from the round of 16, two from the quarter-finals, both semi-finals and the final. Jermaine Jenas will take on hosting duties for both the semi-final and final, and Jenas will be joined in studio by a number of distinguished African internationals, complemented by renowned voices providing commentary throughout the competition.

` Sport online will keep fans up to date with all the action throughout the tournament. As reigning 2021 champions Senegal look to defend their title, fans can keep up to date with digital highlights, live scores and important news on the ` Sport website and app, as well as official social media platforms.
