city ​​Regina | The city is now accepting customized grant applications for sports and recreation

Applications for the Adapted Sport and Recreation Grant offered by the City of Regina are now being accepted. This grant aims to support projects and initiatives that improve inclusion and accessibility in sports and leisure, while promoting active and healthy lifestyles for people with disabilities.

Total funding available for 2023 is $200,000 to be distributed among the most eligible applicants. Organizations can apply for funding to support something new or to make accessible changes to an existing program, service, event, or facility. Organizations can also apply to support accessibility audits of their facilities or capital initiatives, including renovations or equipment purchases.

To be eligible for grant funding, an organization must be a registered nonprofit organization with a proposed initiative that aligns with one or more of the funding stream priorities.

The application deadline for this funding program is June 22, 2023, 4:45 p.m
