STATESVILLE, NC — Christian Rose will join AM Racing this season to contest the entire ARCA Menards Series schedule.
Rose, a former University of Maryland Eastern Shore Division One baseball player, traded the glove and bat for a steering wheel and helmet. It will be Rose’s first full season of stock car competition aboard the team’s flagship #32 Ford Mustang.
Rose joined AM Racing on a limited ARCA schedule last season and competed in a number of races on the ARCA platform with Cook Racing Technologies. In October, he posted a career-best seventh place finish at the Kansas Speedway.
In addition, Rose had two other top 10 finishes at Five Flags (Fla.) Speedway and Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway, respectively.
“I’m incredibly honored to have this opportunity to compete full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for AM Racing,” said Rose. “I’ve learned so much over the past two seasons of a part-time ARCA program that I’m looking forward to expanding my schedule this year, which includes visiting new tracks in new disciplines with the goal of winning races and competing for the competition to fight championship.”
AM Racing, who teamed up with Win-Tron Racing at the start of the 2020 ARCA Menards Series season, will return to the series full-time for the first time since 2018.
“We are excited to return to the ARCA Menards Series full-time in 2023,” said AM Racing Team Principal Kevin Cywinski. “We have a lot of positivity around our team with the launch of our Xfinity program with Brett (Moffitt) and the return to ARCA with Christian.
“I strongly believe that the two programs will complement each other and work together to achieve the goal of bringing the checkered flags back into stores throughout the season.
“Christian is a very passionate and dedicated driver who won us over with his positive attitude and contagious work ethic. We look forward to helping him massively strengthen his racing CV this season.”
In addition to ARCA, Rose and AM Racing also plan to compete in a limited number of NASCAR Craftman Truck Series races to be announced at a later date.
