Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin is looking forward to spending time on the training ground as United’s next game is not until March 18.
Goodwin have a point from his two games in charge so far and the Tannadice club currently sit three points behind bottom of the Scottish Premiership.
“The last six or seven days it’s been a bit of a whirlwind for me and for the players because we’ve been bombarding them with a lot of information about what we expect from them,” Goodwin said on DUTV.
“They have been very receptive but this break comes at just the right time now to have a good 10 days with them to be able to spend as much time as possible on the training ground to really ingrain the principles that we are looking for , and to work on the things that we need to do a little bit better.
“There’s always elements of that, no matter what game you’ve played in. There were a lot of positives on Wednesday night but there were things we can clean up and make sure we do better on those things for the next game.”
