Bethel University students and faculty members participate in the National Collegiate Sales Competition

(McKenzie, TN – 02/19/24) Bethel University sports management students and faculty members participate in the national college sales competition

Bethel University is proud to announce that two students and one faculty member will represent the university at the upcoming National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSSC) in Atlanta. The in-person championships will take place February 25-27, 2024 at State Farm Arena and will be hosted by the Atlanta Hawks.

The NCSSC is a prestigious event that brings together students, faculty, professionals, recruiters and sponsors from across the country. It offers participants a platform to showcase their sales skills and network with industry experts in sports and entertainment. Last year, over 90 professional sports and entertainment organizations and 70 universities participated.

Mike Rowser, a senior sports executive and soccer player from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has already made a name for himself by finishing in the top 50 in the prelims. His exceptional sales skills and commitment have secured him a place in the championship class.

Joining Rowser is Makenya Gaskin, another talented sports management senior who will be participating in the business sales competition. Gaskin is from Atwood, Tennessee and runs for BU. Makenya's strong communication skills and business acumen make her a formidable competitor.

In addition to the students, Dr. Josh Greer, a distinguished member of Bethel University's sports management faculty, one of only five professors selected to present their research and participate in the NCSSC Poster Competition presented by AMA SportSIG.

Bethel University is thrilled to have such talented individuals representing the university at the NCSSC. Their dedication, hard work and passion for sales have earned them a well-deserved place in this prestigious competition.
