World wheelchair tennis number one Alfie Hewett says he and Japan's Tokito Oda are developing a “really good rivalry”.
The two have played each other in four of the last five Grand Slam finals, with 17-year-old Oda winning three of them.
Those victories included this year's Australian Open final and last year's Wimbledon final.
They met twice in March, with Hewett triumphing, first at the Georgia Open and later at the Cajun Classic.
“I’m just glad I stopped the decline because I had lost to him four times in a row,” Hewett told ` Radio Norfolk.
“Of course that went through my head a bit because as a professional it gets on my nerves – so I was happy to get over the finish line.”
